Our world is colourful. Brighter the light the richer the colours. I feel that the use of black and white to increase impact is cheating. However, to contradict myself, I believe that in photography, there are no rules! The sample above is a good example of how the image has taken on a different atmosphere. My client took on the trick demolition project in Portsmouth in the shadow of the Guild Hall. What was previously a Masonic hall had been purchased by a developer with the intention of converting the building into student accommodation. Having set myself the task of illustrate the passage of time with still photographs of Boxgrove Priory, I have finally put together a book containing a selection of 50 images. The inspiration was the fact that the Priory has been in existence since the 11th century and for 900+ years things have changed and moved around it. Each shot has the church with something that has changed or is moving around it. To find out more about the Priory visit boxgrovepriory.co.uk

It's complicated! There are many restrictions on the use of Drones - CIA licence, property owner's permission, wind speed etc.. This is why I use experts to help me. Also as I often shoot stills and video at the same time, I just do not have enough hands to do it all. To see an example of a shoot with drone expert Matt Wild (altivision.co.uk) for my client Ballistic RIBS go to:- ballisticribs.com .
